How to Make Easy Peanut Butter Biscuits for Your Dog
Peanut Butter Biscuit Recipe for Dogs
Since lock down started I'm sure you will have been searching through your cupboards for ingredients to do some baking to pass the time, but move over banana bread, Doghouse biscuits are here!
Seriously simple to make, with easy ingredients that you're likely to have in your cupboard already, give these a try and your dog will definitely thank you for it!
Break the egg into a bowl, add the peanut butter, coconut milk and turmeric then whisk until smooth.
Add the flour and continue to mix with a fork until a soft ball of dough starts to form, use your hands to gently incorporate all the flour. If your mix is too dry to form a ball, add a tablespoon of milk and if your mix is too wet, simply sprinkle an additional tablespoon of flour over the ball until you have a soft but not sticky ball of dough.
Roll out your dough to about 4mm thick, stamp into shapes and transfer onto a lightly greased baking tray. Dust your cutter with flour in between stamping to ensure your dough doesn’t stick to the cutter.
Bake in the middle of the oven for 5-7 minutes or until hard. Cooking time will vary slightly depending on the size of your biscuits.
Once cooked, transfer to a wire cooling rack and allow to cool.
Biscuits can be stored for up to a week in an airtight container once cooled.
