Dachshund lovers, get ready for a weekend dedicated entirely to our favourite long-bodied companions! Dachshund Days at Fox & Hounds Country Hotel is set to be a tail-wagging event, bringing together dachshunds and their humans for a fun-filled, dog-friendly getaway in beautiful Devon.

What's on?

This unique event, inspired by a simple idea—what if we filled an entire hotel with dachshunds?—has quickly captured the hearts of sausage dog owners nationwide. With a packed itinerary of talks, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions from dog training and behaviour experts, health specialists, groomers, and even dog photographers, there’s plenty to learn and enjoy. Plus, with miles of scenic walks nearby, roaring fires to curl up beside, and top-tier food, it’s the ultimate dachshund retreat.

How are Doghouse involved?

Doghouse will be there with Maude, our resident Dachshund, and a stand full of our specialist Dachshund clothing, designed and handmade in Wiltshire, specifically for the perfect sausage fit. Whether you’re looking for a cosy jumper or a warm snuggly blanket, we’ve got your pup covered. Come and try out all of our designs for style and we will deliver directly to your door. We can even embroider your dog's name!
