What makes a good pet shop?  Well after ten years of trading from a tiny shop I  thought I knew a thing or two about what our customers were looking for in a pet shop.  With the High Street taking a battering from the internet, out of town shopping centres, high rent and increasing rates, it seemed an obvious time for an ambitious Pet Shop Girl to re-invent the wheel and invest in a massive new shop that would take the art of retailing and pet shoppery to new heights.

Starting from scratch with the shell of a building that had been empty for 22 years was a gift.  This beautiful vault was hidden in plain sight at the burgeoning heart of our beautiful town, tucked away in the corner of Lamb Yard behind a dusty window.  After years of nuturing the idea we got to plan the space from scratch and have ended up with a purpose built space that really does change the face of pet retail.  We have bought together three distinct areas of business under one roof to create the perfect dog destination, a state of the art grooming salon sits along side a thoroughly well-stocked retail space which incorporates a cafe serving the best local coffee and treats for human or hound.
